The Madonia family represents four generations of bakers, with a legacy that traces back to their Italian roots. In 1982, Tony Madonia, Sr. moved from Buffalo, New York to Las Vegas, where he continued the family tradition. The bakery, originally founded by Tony Sr.'s father, Augie Madonia (now deceased), along with his wife Linda and Tony Sr., has since grown under the leadership of the next generation. Today, it is proudly owned and operated by Tony Sr., his wife Lynn, and their son Tony Madonia, Jr., with their niece Deborah Morelli serving as Vice President of Operations.
At the core of Great Buns Bakery’s production is its advanced high-speed roll line and state-of-the-art bread line. Our bakery proudly supplies premium breads, rolls, and pastries to the majority of hotels and casinos throughout the Las Vegas Valley, as well as to local restaurants, national chains, and sandwich shops. “We are one of the largest commercial bakeries in Las Vegas and we have our loyal customers to thank as we wouldn't be where we are today without any of them,” says Deborah Morelli.

Tony has spent most of his life in the baking industry. After moving to Las Vegas in the early 1980's, he joined his father in their small shop originally located on East Charleston, where they
introduced fresh breads and rolls that were not widely available in the Las Vegas market at the time. Their dedication quickly built a loyal customer base.Over the years, the business has evolved from a modest, family-run operation into one of the largest fully automated bakeries in Las Vegas. Tony’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to innovation have driven the company’s growth, ultimately leading to the state-of-the-art facility it operates in today. Tony Jr. joined the family business when Great Buns relocated from East Charleston to our current facility on East Tropicana Avenue. He is actively involved in all areas of the
operation, and you will often find him on the production floor, closely overseeing day-to-day activities. Many of the bakery’s innovative expansions and operational improvements over the years are a direct result of his vision and hands-on ability to bring those ideas to life. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to efficiency, quality, and continued growth. Deborah works tirelessly to take Great Buns Bakery to the next level within the Las Vegas market. She is also focused on strengthening internal processes and building a culture of accountability and teamwork across the organization.
